St. Patrick’s Day in Los Angeles

Green alcohol, salty meat, and boiled vegetables! St. Patrick’s Day events in Los Angeles, West Hollywood, and Santa Monica are just around the clover corner. Because this celebrated day falls on Monday the 17th, you’ll find many venues kicking off festivities from March 14th-16th. Here’s a list of things to do in the L.A. area:

March 15-16, 2025 from 1pm-2am
The largest pub crawl in Los Angeles will be in DTLA. It will start at Grand Central Market and involve over 10 different venues.
It includes the Golden Gopher, Beelman’s Pub, First Draft Taproom, 33 Taps, and Crane’s Bar. Your ticket and wristband will provide drink specials, some free shots, and St. Paddy’s accessories.
Pre-sale tickets can be found at Los Angeles Club Crawl.

March 15th 2pm-8pm, and March 17th 6pm-11pm
Another pub crawl is being put on by Barcrawlers. It is along the world-famous Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. Participants include Saddle Ranch, Skybar, Andaz, Hotel Ziggy, The Den, The Naughty Pig, and Wokcano.

One of our favorite traditions is at The Tam O’Shanter in Atwater Village. It’s about 15 minutes east of Hollywood on the edge of Griffith Park. The annual party takes place on March 17th on their patio and in their event tent.
Enjoy live music and festive drinks. Pre-sale VIP tickets include special seating, snack menu, private bar, raffles, and drink tickets. Check their website for lunch and dinner hours during this special party. Book early!

- Tom Bergin’s on Fairfax, Hollywood

When in Santa Monica, check out Ye Olde King’s Head for amazing British pub fare. This includes their delicious fish & chips!
A (not-so) fun fact: The average cost for a drunk driving arrest in California is 20K. The Sheriff’s and local police departments are ready to pinch you, whether or not you’re wearing green. They will be out in full force with checkpoints throughout the community. Take the fear out of this festive day and look into Waymo, UBER and our underground Metro. The subway is especially convenient for Downtown Los Angeles and will also alleviate any potential parking headaches.
